Hey there! Happy New Year! I'm so excited for what this year's creativity will show! Yay!
I am always on the quest for new pattern designers. Last September, while I was searching frantically to find the perfect pattern for Azriella's first day of school dress (check out my instagram to see it!) I was destined to find one of my new, go-to pattern designers, BLAVERRY. The patterns are cool and modern yet very wearable. Oh, and my favorite part?! The sizing range is from 2T-16years! Can you even believe that?! My jaw probably actually dropped when I saw that!
Check this out, here's my version of their Finn Top Pattern:
BLAVERRY has a very distinct look which is great for spotting out her patterns: black and white. I truly enjoy going through the website. But hey, I can't help but be me! Neon! Color! FUN! So I cut into my new stash of Girl Charlee knits and went to work!
The pattern was super easy to read and follow. And don't you just love when you can highlight just the size you need, print and cut without every seeing the sizes you don't need!
The look has a lot of sleeve options too! I opted for the cap with long sleeve version sewn up in a size 4 with a size 6 length.
Man oh MAN, I tried harder than I've ever tried to match up all those seams! It was quite the feat!
She's doing her America''s Next Top Model, Devin's, peacock pose hahaha.
I wish I could have had more natural lighting for pictures but winter in the Pacific Northwest does not lend itself to lots of that! We still had a good time taking these, though!
The Finn Top Pattern is available for sale on {affiliate link} BLAVERRY here! And while you're there check out all of the other goodies, too!
Take care all and Happy New Year!
hugs & stitches & many many smooches,
Kat
