Pattern Review! Wild & Free leggings!

Hello friends!  Happy Springtime!  I just made something I love.   Who doesn't love a cute pair of leggings?  I just fell for these woodland creature leggings pattern by Coffee + Thread called the "Wild and Free Leggings"{affiliate link}.  Now while I did get the pattern for free, all of the opinions are completely my own!

The sizing ranges from 9 months up to 12 years and has several different views!

  • Choose from a bunny, a bear, a kitty, a mouse, or a fox face! OR you could pick one of the shapes for an applique look!

  • Not feeling the pockets? Nix them! There's instructions for that too!

  • Feeling less critter-y? Why not try out some cool colorblocking without the faces or appliques?!

I had a hard time choosing what combination I wanted to do so I asked Sephira what she wanted and she chose bunnies!  I pulled together this colorblocked look because I like wackiness and painted on blue faces (I did three thin coats).  I made mine in a size for 4T.

When I got her dressed to take pictures, I thought I'd do a little something fun and I painted some dots on her cheeks so she looks like a marionette or a nutcracker I don't know, I just thought it would look cute ;-) and I treated her to a bottle of Ramune' (a Japanese soft drink) which we love here!

 She never disappoints when it comes to taking pictures,  she has such a fun time with it and takes direction so well! I can't believe she's getting so big!!  It's gonna be so sad around her when she starts up school; I am not looking forward to that!

That's a lyric from one of my favorite Neutral Milk Hotel songs and it seems pretty fitting.

So if you like creatures on your kiddos legs, or even if you don't, you should probably consider getting a copy today while they are on sale! $5!  Tomorrow they go back to their still very affordable $8 so don't worry if you miss the special price!

As for me?  I'm going to go and celebrate the beautiful weather!  I am eager to hear what you all would do to the Wild and Free Leggings to make them your own?  How's your spring adventures going?!

Until next time!

hugs + stitches + many many smooches,

Kat

{how about this face, right?! hahahaha}
