First Day of School Outfits! Superstar "Key" inspire and a sneak peak at Advice!
Greetings from Sew Chibi-land! I’m just stopping in to share some pics of our late summer adventures and back-to-school outfits with you today!
For Azriella, she chose to wear her Advice shirt that I made her for her birthday, paired up with a suspender skirt because I am still working on her outfit! I did manage to make a matching ADVICE inspired mask to go with the look.
For Sephira, she asked specifically for Key’s look from SHINee’s new video “SUPERSTAR”. I changed things up by making it a suspender skirt paired with a raglan drafted sleeve, cropped Touka shirt with two toned sleeves plus we swapped out a head bandana for a headband bandana and a ultra reinforced face mask (it’s four layer of fabric and four layers of interfacing, lol.)
For Akira, I made a two-piece outfit and a similarly reinforced mask!

The whole first week of school, Sephira proclaimed she wanted to wear nothing but SHINee handmades and that she did! I missed taking a pic of the third day of school in her Atlantis shirt, but I got pictures of the other days! She made this adorable self-portrait of herself on the first day of school too! We also had an action-packed day at the zoo, complete with train ride, then two shopping malls in celebration of Azriella’s birthday/end of the summer. It’s weird having them go back to school in person. Mostly, I would like to keep them home with me where they are safe. However, Akira in particular needs to get some social academics (as it were) because she’s been really sheltered since she started school and there are just some things that are easier to teach her in person. I take solace in the fact that they all go to smaller schools now and they only have to attend 4 days a week. It makes all the difference not having to do all of the insane school morning drill one less day a week! Aside from that, it’s so quiet in the house… I forgot what it’s like to have an empty house to myself! Mixed feelings about that too!!! I just love having them around me all of the time. They all and Jon are truly my best friends; i just love them all sooooo much!!!!
